Want to help out the Wellcome Trust and earn £50? April 16, 2010

Not really careers related, but I thought you might like to know about it anyway!

The Wellcome trust are looking for biomedical researchers to help them with their website usability testing.

They carry out usability testing sessions on their websites to try to spot problems that people may have finding information, or understanding how content is organised. It’s quick and easy to do and can be extremely valuable to them. Sessions last up to an hour. They usually involve a short interview followed by a series of questions about their web pages. The collated information is used to help improve their website.

They do the testing in their offices on the Euston Road but they are happy to come to the participant’s workplace (they would need a quiet room or office) They pay people £50 for their time.

They are hoping to carry out our these sessions in the next three weeks but they are keen to hear from anyone interested in helping, as they will be likely to run repeat sessions in a few months.
