Posted by qmresearchers in Employer Events.

The BBC  are looking for students from a scientific background who are interested in becoming researchers for their Science Unit in the future.

They are visiting QM on Thursday 21st January between 1-2pm and are really interested in meeting QM Science Students.  At present the BBC has a very productive and highly regarded Science unit producing landmark films for BBC 1, 2, 3 & 4.  Current projects and programmes in the making include Bang Goes the Theory, Horizon, How Earth Made Us & Human Solar System to name just a few.  The Science genre is an area which the BBC will continue to have many opportunities for graduates who are interested in becoming researchers and producers of the future.

The event will provide an opportunity to meet representatives from the
BBC Talent team.  It will also provide information on the Vision Intake
Pool, a scheme which provides an entry route into working for BBC
production and Website teams as either a Runner or a Production
Management Assistant.

Visit their website for further details – http://www.bbc.co.uk/jobs/vip/

Please sign up in advance with QM Careers (Queens Building WG3). A £10 deposit will be required to secure your place. This will be returned to you when you arrive at the event.
